With the space looking down to the lake and boat-house below, David and our client decided to focus this design around an avant-garde nautical theme.
The wave of the walnut island top synchronises with the curved steps leading to the dining area, in which our exclusive trapped silk glass is shaped to reflect the hull of a boat. We finished the nautical atmosphere of the room by encasing the kitchen support in walnut, giving it the appearance of a traditional ship’s mast.
Eclectic and totally unique, this interior is a perfect example of how we tailor our designs to each client’s individual aspirations.
