Having recently purchased a cottage nestled in the Cheshire countryside, our client’s ambition was to transform the property into a timelessly bijou forever-home.
Returning for their second David Lisle kitchen, the client brought with them moodboards and swatches, giving us a great insight into their vision for the property. Through design appointments we landed on a classic New England aesthetic.
Light, casual and relaxed. Soft palettes and natural materials. Practical, simple in form. Cosy, with a strong focus on comfort. All distinct traits of the New England style, woven into the design with flush Driftwood cabinetry, tongue & groove panelling, riverwashed granite and tumbled limestone.
The design is uncomplicated which highlights the tactility of the materials. The light streams in through the large patio doors and the space feels warm, peaceful, and simply put, a joy to use.
