Over the past 4 decades, we have been involved in creating some of the finest and most unique properties across Cheshire. With our reputation as expert bespoke designers and cabinetmakers, our client entrusted us to transform a Grade II listed outbuilding into a truly special residential bar.
Like the kitchen and boot room in the main house, we kept the design and choice of materials sympathetic to the grand 18th Century architecture. English oak was hand-stained to a rustic, warm hue to give that traditional country pub atmosphere, with gold leafing and gilding adding an indulgent detail.
The recessed bookcases include a secret door to the outside stable yard, meticulously crafted with faux books and a hidden handle to be as discreet as possible. We designed the arched bar shelving to suit the client’s specific taxidermy, which are mounted on hand-carved oak shields above the exotic Verde Fantastico marble countertop. Complex details such as these showcase the true bespoke nature of our work, and produce interiors that are like no other.
