Our client wanted a fantastical space, taking inspiration from old oak forests.
We took great pleasure in bringing this inspiration to life by hand-carving and hand-waxing the minute details in this very special antique oak kitchen. By waxing each piece for an extensive period we created a mellow, golden patina effect on the grain.
We sourced some beautiful cast bronze branches for pantry cupboard handles, and added a little hand-carved mouse for a quirky touch.
