The Vision
This project is a true testament to the power of design. The client wanted a space that felt spacious, contemporary and connected to the rest of their home, while also offering a sense of warmth and comfort. Working closely with the clients, our team set out to create a kitchen that not only met their needs but exceeded their expectations. With an emphasis on clean lines, high-end finishes and integrated technology, we wanted to create a design that balanced form and function in perfect harmony.
Creating a Seamless Flow
One of the key elements of this design was the open-plan layout. To achieve a kitchen that flowed naturally into the dining and living areas while maintaining a sense of separation, we focused on designing zones within the space that allowed for easy movement, while still offering distinct areas for cooking, eating and socialising. The large kitchen island became the centerpiece of the room, serving as both a cooking and prep space, as well as a gathering spot for family and friends. With integrated storage and a breakfast bar, the island provides the perfect blend of functionality and style.
Premium Materials and Finishes
Quality materials were paramount to the success of this project. The sleek cabinetry in a soft white tone provided a sophisticated backdrop, while the bold white marble countertops added a sense of luxury.
A Harmonious Connection to the Rest of the Home
The New London Open-Plan Kitchen was designed to blend seamlessly with the rest of the home’s interior. The neutral colour palette and contemporary design choices complemented the existing décor in the living and dining areas, creating a cohesive flow between the rooms.
