From Outbuilding To A Grand 18th Century Bar - How We Transformed Our Client’s Space

When it comes to creating high-end, bespoke spaces, attention to detail is paramount in the pursuit of luxury and quality.

One of our more unique case studies that perfectly encompasses these principles is the Gilded English Oak Bar in Cheshire.

It is one of our favourite recent projects where our client entrusted us to transform a Grade 2 listed outbuilding into a very special residential bar.

This stunning masterpiece showcases the pinnacle of craftsmanship and the exquisite attention to every detail that created a stunning space for our client.

The Gilded English Oak Bar: A Work of Art

The bar we created is much more than a functional piece of furniture; it is a true work of art and a very special one of a kind residential bar which has transformed the space to create an atmosphere that resembles a traditional country pub.

There are a number of key aspects that make this project so exceptional:

Materials and Craftsmanship

The foundation of this luxurious bar is the choice of materials sympathetic to the grand 18th Century architecture of the outbuilding.

English oak, renowned for its durability and timeless beauty, was hand stained to achieve a rustic warm hue and forms the core of the design.

Every inch of the bar exudes quality and sophistication, thanks to the skilled craftsmanship that went into its creation.

Attention to Detail

What sets high-end, luxurious projects apart is their meticulous attention to detail.

No detail was too small.

From the intricate carving on the panels to the exquisite gilded accents, every element of the design speaks of precision and artistry.

Totally Bespoke

One of the hallmarks of a high end quality product is its ability to cater to the unique needs and tastes of the client. The Gilded English Oak Bar is a bespoke creation, tailored to the specific requirements of the space and the client’s vision. It seamlessly integrates with the overall design of the room, enhancing its aesthetic appeal and is in harmony with the 18th Century architecture of the grade 2 listed building.

Timelessness

Luxury is enduring

The bar, with its classic design and high-quality materials, is a timeless addition to the family home. It will continue to exude opulence and charm for generations to come, making it an investment in both luxury and legacy.

Functionality

While aesthetics are of paramount importance in high-end interior design, functionality should never be compromised.

The bar is a beautiful creation but it also offers a practical and fully functional space for entertaining, complete with ample storage all seamlessly integrated into the design, in line with the client’s personal taste.
