How Architecture inspired our gothic plinth
Having a keen interest in architecture for many years, David is often inspired by the numerous eras of buildings within Cheshire, Derbyshire and Greater Manchester.
Manchester Town Hall is no exception. Taking inspiration from the Victorian building, David recently designed and crafted his signature plinth, modelled on the iron details of the famous annex that links the extension to the main hall.
We love the versatility of this plinth. Either as a bold statement in a minimalist space, or a small detail in a more extravagant one, it gives deserved appreciation to the humble table leg, performing not just functionally, but beautifully.
